Hi there, I have been using your “export user data” plugin for few years, it was great and working well before. However recently it has two issues as below.
1. When export CSV – I found that many rows are missing (we have actually over 16,000 rows but it exports around 8,000 rows, and the number of rows are different every time. For example sometimes 7672 rows, sometimes 8023 rows…strange)
2. When export Excel (xls) – When I open the xls file, it pops up a warming “HTML import error – Table” and I can’t open it. Then I tried to convert it to xlsx file online, and then open it, it has the same issue as Point 1 (many rows are missing).
I would like to point out that this export feature was working very well before (can successfully export ALL rows), but recently has the issues above. It is much appreciate if you can help and offer me a solution for it. Thank you very much!!
Thank you so much for your reply. You are right, before the issue happened, we have changed the server hosting company (SiteGround). And our WP programmer (I am not a technical guy) have done “something” to make it compatible to the new server. However he said that everything is working well except this EUD plugin. He has worked on it for some time and still can’t fix it. That’s why I tried to look for help in here, and see if you guys have seen this issue before and have a solution on it.
Do you have any quick solution or test that I can try now?
What would be useful would be to see the server PHP logs ( with any private / security data removed ) during a failed export – we would presume that the server is running out of resources and logging that error, before stopping. Can you ask your developer to provide those logs?
Sure, I can contact him. However I want to emphasis that the export is completed (not fail). But the exported Excel/CSV has problem.
The answer was that in cases where the plugin is running on a server with limited resources, using the row count / offset options in advanced options allows the user to break the export over several runs.

@frankie1234 – when things that once worked stop, it’s important to know what changed, did you update the EUD plugin, WordPress, other plugins, did you server upgrade, did you migrate – what’s the difference between the time when “it worked” to the point now where it does not?
