Hi!
I think there is an issue with email notifications on the GCI site… Elyse realized that she hadn’t been getting emails about new user registrations and/or grant applications for the past week, even though they were successfully submitted.

We did some testing and I think she’s right – I added her email address in addition to what was there, gci@greenheart.info, sent a test registration through, and she didn’t get anything.

I tested that it wasn’t just email issues with the gci@greenheart.info account by sending an email to that account and it worked, so it would appear that this is not an issue with our email system/forwarding.

Hi!
Kelsey has been having problems with user activation. She says she has to approve most of them twice, because they still appear in “pending” after she initially approves them from the email. She has to approve them again through the Users tab in the dashboard in order for them to be approved.

Hi!
We discovered an issue with the GCI password check; it appears that it will not accept weaker passwords when users try to change them. You mentioned implementing a possible bypass so that users will be able to change their passwords to more simple ones.

Hi,
We discovered an issue trying to log hours when accessing the Club through Adage. In testing, it seems that when you log in through Adage and then emulate the user, hours logged are not saved.

However, it appears as a whole that hours are being logged, so we’re not sure if this is a widespread issue.

Lauren: “When I clink on the “Manage Sign Up” link in my email that’s supposed to lead me to the new user registration page on the GCI, it brings me to a page that says, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page””
Q: This seems to be a problem on the website – the user registration plugin was updated – I’m going to need to do some work to find the cause.

We need to delete the cap on number of hours a user can log in one session for GHT participants only. Lauren M said she spoke to you about this already. (I only got the request today so adding it to the system.)
