A blog was recently published by the GHT staff: http://greenhearttravel.org/teach-abroad-programs/teach-abroad-south-korea/4-blogs-to-get-you-pumped-to-teach-abroad
GHT would like to have the “teach-abroad-south-korea” tag removed from the permalink. After reviewing the blog post, it looks like the author marked 5 categories and that the Teach Abroad South Korea category was added to the permalink as a default.
Before asking if the subcategory could be removed I wanted to ask if it’s even good practice to mark multiple categories for a blog post? I was thinking it would be best to just categorize the post under “Teach Abroad Programs” and then just use tags to designate the 4 teach abroad programs. Thanks!
When we structured out the blog content, it was generally agreed that ( due mostly to the sheer volume of content ) all posts would sit in sub categories ( ../parent/child/post-title ) – so, in this case – I’d suggest the answer is to add a new general sub category as a child of the “Teach Abroad Programs” and add the post to that – removing the other categories, and then add tags however you like.
