We’re having trouble locating a user named Ogay Viktoriya. This user is trying to connect to GCI through the database, but keeps receiving the unable to connect message error, which occurs when the user’s email is already assigned in GCI. I tried to look for this user under Pending Users and All Users, but no luck. So I exported a user data report and found the user listed with a registration of 7/26/2014.

We ran into this issue back in July with another user in which it turned out that Buddypress assigned the user a strange ID value, but you were able to locate him and assign him a user value. So I think this may also have occurred with this user.

The user is now findable via a search for their username in the admin – they had been moved to a “spam” status.

The user appears to have joined directly via the registration form, as they have no Adage ID – this can be added to the user by editing their profile.
