I think there is an issue with email notifications on the GCI site… Elyse realized that she hadn’t been getting emails about new user registrations and/or grant applications for the past week, even though they were successfully submitted.
We did some testing and I think she’s right – I added her email address in addition to what was there, firstname.lastname@example.org, sent a test registration through, and she didn’t get anything.
I tested that it wasn’t just email issues with the email@example.com account by sending an email to that account and it worked, so it would appear that this is not an issue with our email system/forwarding.
A quick follow-up to this: Elyse said a participant who was approved never received an email confirming that they were in the Club. Perhaps this means that all email notifications are not being sent? Not sure. The user was Ana Rodriguez, username ana.rod
