Hi,

We pushed the Impact Report live today and it looks fantastic – thanks for all of your help on styling and implementing Aesop.

So far we’ve only run into one technical issue – it’s not an emergency but should probably be fixed if possible by the end of the week.

Impact Report 2016

If you scroll past the first panel, you’ll notice a hamburger menu appears at the upper righthand corner of the page. This menu is pulling random pages from the site that don’t even correspond with this publication.

Is there a way for this menu to only pull posts from the Impact Report category?

Thanks,
Rosie

Hi!
We’ve found that when GPM links are shared on Facebook, they pull random images to go along with the post from parts of the site not necessarily associated with that direct link (i.e. an event page showing a thumbnail from one of the Changemakers bios).

You said there may be a plugin available to fix this or at least only pull images from the page being shared?

Hi!
Our Storyform days are DONE :) We’ve decided that we’d like to move ahead with Aesop Story Engine. They have a wide variety of themes that you pay a one-time cost for and the plugin itself is free. They’ve got great ratings and their showcase of what projects people have made with it are impressive.
Here is where we can download the plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/aesop-story-engine/

If you install the plugin I can download the theme we want. Thanks!

Hi!
I think there is an issue with email notifications on the GCI site… Elyse realized that she hadn’t been getting emails about new user registrations and/or grant applications for the past week, even though they were successfully submitted.

We did some testing and I think she’s right – I added her email address in addition to what was there, gci@greenheart.info, sent a test registration through, and she didn’t get anything.

I tested that it wasn’t just email issues with the gci@greenheart.info account by sending an email to that account and it worked, so it would appear that this is not an issue with our email system/forwarding.

Thanks!

Hello,
Email notifications from the CAP Participant Inquiry Form (https://www.cci-exchange.com/participants/work-intern/intern-and-trainee/apply/) are not being received by recipients specified in the notifications tab.

All recipients are active and the entries are successfully received in Gravity Forms but no email confirmation arrives to the email addresses – in the regular inbox or the “junk email” folder.

I tried two tests: when I put my rpowers@greenheart.info email in as a notification recipient, again no notification arrived. But when I put my personal Gmail address in as a recipient, the notification worked – signaling that this may be a problem with our email server spam settings? According to Outlook, junk emails should still show in the junk folder – and this does not occur.

Any ideas? Is the plugin up to date?

Hi!
I have not been able to replicate this issue – my apologies – but I can’t tell what’s amiss here. I’ve successfully submitted this form twice:
https://greenheartclub.org/resource/alumni-grant-application-2

yet one of our participants claims he has problems hitting the “submit” button at the bottom despite filling out all of the required fields. I have had no trouble submitting in both Chrome and Safari browsers (I believe he is using Chrome based on his screenshot).

Is there a maximum amount of text allowed in these fields? Any ideas of what this could be?

Server error:

maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I am trying to remove the “Happy Anniversary” campaign from the menu.

Hi,

This plugin is awesome. :)

If I knew how to code such I would do this myself, so I will submit it to you.

It would be nice if php support was added similar to the body classes.

So, something like…

.firefox-47

in php could be used like…

if ( is_firefox_47( '' ) ) {

// Then we can run some code here...

}

Thoughts?

On the gh.info staging version I installed the Storyform plugin, which will be used to create long form content for an ezine we plan to publish on the website. The Storyform plugin is automatically added to posts, but we don’t want to publish the ezine on the blog. Can a custom post type be created for the ezine that would include the storyform plugin?
